More Harvest Moon for DS and Wii (I Mean, Us!)

Fans of Natsume's farming adventure series will be excited to know that
Harvest Moon will be coming to Wii some time in 2007. No details are
available yet, but the developers are hard at work thinking up unique
ways to use the Wii Remote to tend to your crops.

Closer to release from Natsume is Freedom Wings, an aircraft combat
adventure for DS. Players take command of an assortment of aircraft and
pilot them through an in-depth mission mode. As the story progresses,
players can upgrade their aircraft with new weapons and armor. Freedom
Wings was designed to be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. Younger
players can get an assist from the AI COMBAT system which will help them
lock-on to targets and fly their planes. Experienced players can use
manual control where they control all the action. Up to four players can
battle each other through the DS LAN with one cartridge. Freedom Wings
will take to the skies in July.

Two other Harvest Moon games are also coming soon for Nintendo DS.
Harvest Moon DS is slated for release in August. New characters and old
favorites will make an appearance in this adventure. A Witch Princess
puts a spell on the Harvest Goddess that was a little more powerful than
she anticipated. Now it's up to you to restore the magic of
Forget-Me-Not Valley by finding all 101 Harvest Sprites. Plant fields
and design your own farm, play Harvest Sprite casino games, and marry a
maiden, mermaid, witch or goddess. With the DS touch screen you'll be
able to spend hands-on time with your livestock and pets. You'll also be
able to invite characters from Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town to
      your DS world.

Puzzle de Harvest Moon brings the Harvest Moon characters to the world
of puzzle games. You line up like seeds to make them sprout into crops.
Up to four players can play. Interestingly, you hold the DS like a book
(same as Brain Age) which gives you a bigger screen to work with as you
match up seeds, sprouts, trees and fruit. Puzzle de Harvest Moon is
      scheduled for release in September.
Right from the horse's mouth.

Always ~HMEternity

Welcome dear visitor, to the rounds of the newest Zelda website, Zelda Eternity! Yes, I know we used to cover some off RPG called "Harvest Moon," but I have found that since there have been no new releases of Harvest Moon games in years, there is no other way to continue our great community, but to change the games we cover.Starting tomorrow, all Harvest Moon content, fan fictions, media, etc will be taken down permanently. That content will be replaced by content for the Legend of Zelda series.

It has been an honor working with Harvest Moon webmasters the last two years. It was a great time, thanks for all the fun. That being said, I will now be affiliating only with Zelda sites. Thank you for your understanding.

One last time for HME, the first for ZE:
Always ~HMEternity

Oh, and by the way, happy April Fools' day!

Two years. The average website lasts about forty-nine days according to very official statistic. And quite frankly, I have no clue what to say I am so amazed.

So, let's take a look at some of the climaxes in the last year:

New Layout

New Forums

74292 Unique Visitors

RPG Upgraded to Version 2.5

RPG 2.5 Shut Down and Moved to the Forum

New RPG Opened on Forum

hmeternity.net Aquired

That's quite a list, and I hope we can go further next year!
"Eternity Never Says Die!"

A line from a movie went something like that... Anyway, don't you hate it when webmasters update just for the sake of telling you their sites not dead. (Usually they never make a post after that...) Well that is exactly what I am doing with this update. (I apologize, and really, I sincerely mean it!)The Harvest Moon Community (for the most part, at least) is in the doldrums for right now, that's to say, there's not much going on. It pains me to say, but this doldrums effect has indeed hit Harvest Moon Eternity, too.

There's really that much to update about. It's critical that we don't give up now, as these are the periods in time where sites are made or broken. So, I ask, stick around: join the forums. We will weather the storm together.

Always ~HMEternity
